Update from SecondLife

Wassr is now available for SecondLife!

You can post your comment with a teleport link. Post your favorite spot or what's happening in SecondLife if you have a SecondLife account!

Follow the instruction below to post your comment from SecondLife. Initialize Wassr account and SecondLife account. (This does not send your SecondLife password to Wassr.)

How to activate.

1. Login to SecondLife and get your free "Wassr HUD" from an up-to date Wassr module distribution point.
   The Wassr module is currently available at following location.
   Current HUD version is version0.07.
   
   • Wassr Information Center, MobileFactory (43, 216, 27) (version0.07)
   • Tsutsuji-ya Socks Shop Valkyrie , Valkyrie (224, 24, 60)(version0.07)
   • ::: BareRose ::: HQ , Bare Rose (186, 41, 30)(version0.07)
   • Keimar's Stump , Coders Cove (28, 164, 39)(version0.07)
   
   It may takes a few seconds to receive HUD after touching Wassr update module object.
    
2. Wear Wassr HUD, then right click and select Edit on Wassr HUD. Object edit panel would be shown on your screen.
   
3. Click on "contents" tab on edit panel, open the note card that says "ActivationCode".
   
   Click "Show All" if "contents" tab is not shown.
   
4. Put your activation code in the first line on the note card "Your_Activation_CODE", save, and close edit panel and note card.
   
   
5. Click on the Wassr logo on the left side of Wassr HUD after closing the edit panel. Then it will start connecting to Wassr server to validate your code.
   

   Activation is completed!! Now you can post messages!

   If you received the above chat message, your activation is done.
   
   

How to update by Wassr HUD

1. To post a comment, type as follows while you are wearing your "Wassr HUD".

   /83 [your comment here]

   Your post will appear with a teleport link to your current SecondLife location.
   
   
   Your Wassr HUD is invisible to any other SecondLife users. For convenience keep wearing your Wassr HUD while in SecondLife.
   
   

About version upgrade.

You will be notified of HUD upgraded when you login or wear HUD. Please get a new HUD from above distribution point.
*You need to initialize your Wassr account and SecondLife avatar everytime you upgrade.

Wassr accepts "@notation" which Twitter and many other blog service are adopting.
If you want to replay to a particular user's comment, type the user ID after "@", add one space, and type your comment. It would be posted as its reply. User ID shows with message on HUD.

ie., (Red text is the ID.)

How to send a snapshot postcard from SecondLife.

Wassr mail posting tool allows you to post a snapshot postcard from SecondLife.

Mail posting procedure.

This procedure was created based on SecondLife viewer version1.18.2.0. Please note that this may be changed due to SecondLife version.

1. Select [File] > [Take Snapshot] from Menu bar.
   
2. Snapshot Preview window will appear on your screen.
   Select [Send a postcard] and click [Send].
   
3. Send Postcard window will appear on your screen.
   Type your Wassr email address in [Recipient's Email] box. Please login and access to this page to get your Wassr email address for sending postcard.
   Type Subject and Message as you want to show on your post. (Both subject and message would appear on the site.)
   And click send button to complete all procedure.
   
   *It may time a while to reflect your postcard to the site. Please note that it may take a few minutes to hours due to the SecondLife server specifications.

Using Group for networking

Group "Wassr" is available for Wassr users in SecondLife. Please join the group and use it for communication with other Wassr users and more.

Please search group name "wassr" in SecondLife. Anybody can join.
